Associate Art Director

Social Media Head





This is a unique hybrid role that combines your love for photography and an eye for graphic design. In this role you will be working on the overall visual aspect of the brand and design BISKIT’S visual aesthetic from concept to finished execution across all physical touch-points, digital, and social channels. This position is central in the creative and commercial expansion of the brand and you will be responsible to ensure that the brand name & vision are always aligned across all media and stay true to the BISKIT’S aesthetic.

You will be our lead studio photographer and graphic design artist in charge of building a visual vocabulary that will bring an aspirational direction to our brand identity –  from images, moving assets, video content to typography, posters, and other design elements. We are looking for someone who loves art and design and brings their influences and ideas with them to expand how we communicate visually at BISKIT.  You will work closely with the founder and creative director of our business – Shruti Biswajit, and the marketing team to form a strong foundation for the brand.

In addition to having an interest for fashion, the ideal candidate will be highly creative with excellent leadership and communication skills. You will bring a modern and energizing approach, and be consumed about how to create relevance and engaging brand assets to our customers, community and consumers. The candidate will bring fresh energy, and a proactive attitude, ready to work across all levels within the team.

- Developing, innovating the Biskit brand and style guidelines; ensuring brand identity and brand frameworks are upheld across all touch-points.

- Working with the marketing team to create engaging social media design assets

- Drive the conception, creation and design of all digital and physical assets (homepages, emails, editorial, digital ads/banners, videos, social media content, Email newsletters, look books, posters).



- Photographing all our clothes and related products ready to be released across all our digital outlets – website, social media, newsletters, etc.

- Working closely with the social media / marketing team to create engaging and captivating visual stories to be released on our digital platforms.

- Researching and creating ideas for new marketing / commercial campaigns (photoshoots).

- Art directing photoshoots, campaigns, and other productions.



- Working closely with the Creative Director to elevate the quality + creativity of all asset creation.

- Optimize the entire visual asset development process: identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in shooting, filming, content capture processes and tools

- Working closely with the Marketing Team to create 360 campaigns on all levels and assets to stimulate sales and visibility world-wide.

- Commissioning and source talent such as illustrators, animators, stylists, photographers, etc. to create content.

- Lead and direct the execution of all aspects of video and still photoshoots, including concept making, storyboarding / shot planning, casting, styling, directing photographers, on-set logistics, in-house production team etc.

- Set the tone and oversee post-production, including shot selects, touch-up, sound and editing, supplemented by external freelancers and editors (demanding best-in-class excellence for outsourced work).



- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the fashion, retail or creative industry working in the photo or graphic design department

- Professional knowledge of photography - both in a technical method and a more free-form creative method

- Professional knowledge of graphic design - strong typography and conceptual design skills -

- Expert with Adobe Creative Suite software – Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Indesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc

- Effectively communicates (in English), verbally and written, with internal and external business partners

- Very well versed with the BISKIT aesthetic

- Responsible for staying ahead of current trends in art, design, fashion, music, lifestyle brands, social media, and all relevant digital platforms. Followed by the need to translate into design solutions consumer connections to elevate our brands, make them hyper-relevant and drives deep consumer love.

- Ability to work in an agile, dynamic work environment with a start-up mentality

- Collaborative and works well with others to deliver results; keep others informed to avoid unnecessary surprises

- Ability to multitask. Time and project management skills to be able to meet project deadlines

- Strong interest in Fashion and everything related, such as Architecture, Art, Design, Film.

- Video, Film editing, motion design, and 3D knowledge are a significant plus

- Knowledge of Shopify is a plus

This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Superstar to develop and drive forward Biskit’s social media strategy and take day-to-day responsibility for all our social platforms. We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who lives and breathes social media to shape our content production and channel strategy.  You will get a chance to take ownership of your role and help build out our social media team as we grow.

You will be working closely with our creative team to deliver compelling social campaigns and amazing native content in line with Biskit’s brand identity that will deliver meaningful engagement with our community. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth and engagement for brands through social channels. You’ll be known for your storytelling, creativity and innovative thinking, but equally someone who can dig into the data and has their finger on the pulse of emerging social trends, platforms and technologies.

In addition to your love for telling stories and building community, you will have a great sense of humor, a youthful spirit, and a drive towards excellence that powers a magical result and impassioned collaboration.



- Define and implement the company’s social strategy, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and business goals

- A brilliant copywriter and digital native, you’ll know how to craft social media content to achieve both reach and engagement.

- Ability to look at the different components of our brand and distill them down to clear ideas that can be executed/communicated across all digital media.

- Develop organic social media plans, campaigns, activations and tactics to support marketing stories, new product launches, and cultural moments

- Work with team members to brief and oversee the production of social assets with the in-house Creative Team and/or external videographers and production teams

- Own and manage the social media calendar

- Schedule and upload posts across all customer facing platforms (FB, Insta, Pinterest, Twitter, and soon also TikTok)

- Come up with reactive content plans for live events, pop ups and other physical activations that will transfer physical experiences into the social world visually

- Drive, monitor and respond to engagement with our online community in line with brand personality 

- Community relationship management to increase our loyal following, engagement rates and overall drive traffic to the website.

- Conduct social media listening and monitoring to understand brand sentiment, optimise channels and improve the success of plans using appropriate analytics tools

- Deliver innovation by exploring new features of existing platforms and / or expanding to new platforms opportunities

- Create best practices and guidelines for relevant teams

- Build and present regular reports and competitor analysis to the Founders

- Be a constant champion for social media in the business

- Ensure all social output is on brand and complies with tone of voice and brand guidelines, and aesthetics



- At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role in fashion, lifestyle, retail or creative industry, managing a brand’s social presence (either in-house or agency side)

- You will be fiercely creative with a great eye for design and a passion for ideas generation

- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

- Experience of being on shoots and having a hands-on role in creating social first content

- Excellent proficiency in English

- A self-starter with plenty of initiative and a can-do attitude

- A flexible, approachable attitude with good problem-solving skills

- You will have a solid understanding of social media platforms, digital and knowledge of emerging trends, technologies and the social landscape

- Knowledge and understanding of social listening tools

- A great communicator who enjoys collaborating across multiple teams

- Strong numerical know-how for reporting and analyzing stat

- Experience working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Video editing softwares
