BISKIT is an art and design studio, first conceptualised by siblings Shruti Biswajit and Harsha Biswajit in Brooklyn, New York. The collaboration brought together their worlds of fashion and fine art, and what began as a project gradually evolved into a world of its own - extending into storytelling, concept building and audio-visual experiences.

At BISKIT, ideas are developed through a process of exploration. Art informs design, not as something separate from it, but as a way of observing, questioning and finding form.Everything we make is intentional, carries meaning and emerges through experimentation. Each piece takes shape through consciously sourced materials and is assembled by hand.

2017–2024
During this period, BISKIT was shaped collaboratively by Shruti and Harsha, with both contributing to its creative direction, concepts and design. Harsha’s artistic practice became an important part of the early BISKIT world, while the two continued to develop its ideas, visual language and larger universe together.

Harsha also developed BISKIT Underground, a sub-world within BISKIT centred around recorded audio-visual sets, sound and experimentation. Alongside this, they created The BISKIT Universe, a 160,000 sq. ft. virtual museum and digital extension of the studio - an evolving space for presenting BISKIT’s work, ideas and experiences.

Inspired by the nature of impossible objects,the Biskit logo seeks to challenge the perception of the viewer by bringing two perspectives into one form. If you look closely, the perspective of the rectangle changes from top to bottom.
